Now come on, I'm cute! Don't ya think? This is my baby picture. Heather (my breeder) took it when I was about 5 weeks old. Mom and Dad (and Stuey) had already picked me out of 11 puppies!! Now that was a lot of puppies to compete with! And I was the first to be picked!! Mom thinks maybe that's part of why I'm so competetive with Stuey and why I eat my food so fast. I just know I like to eat, eat, eat and play, play, play!! And I loooooovvvvvveeee attention!!! If Mom and Dad don't pay attention to me right when they get home I howl at them so they don't forget me!!! They think it's sooooooooo funny! Dad always picks up Stuey first, partly because he's the Alpha dog and partly because he knows I will howl at him. I don't care. As long as he pays attention to me. Sometimes I JUST ... CAN'T ...WAIT! Mom tells me she thinks I'm part hound. I just think that's dumb 'cause she knows I'm a pug! And Heather knows I'm a pug, 'cause my doggie mom and dad were pugs and Heather would never let a hound get into me! But I gotta get people's attention somehow! And sometimes Stuey's attention or other dogs' attention or the cats' attention! Especially Boo! I love to play with Boo! But sometimes that cat just wants to sit on the table where I can't get 'im! Grrrrrrrrr! So I bark and howl and howl and bark till he jumps off the table! See! It works! But then sometimes he just runs away to the basement and that makes me sad so I cry. :( Dad wants me to say that he just made me chew on my foot for five minutes. I don't know why he wants me to say that. I felt like chewing. I like chewing! He put it in front of me and I felt like chewing so I chewed it! Big deal! There, I said it! Well, I gotta go. Stuey and Boo! are on Dad's lap and I gotta make sure I get my space! Life's a competition! I gotta win! Talk to ya later!

We're Stuey and Guinness, a couple of pure bred black pugs. Our mom thought it would be cool for us to have our own blog, where we can talk about life from our perspective, so here we are. The really cute pic on the right is of me, Stuey. I'm the firstborn and the Alpha male. Of the dogs, anyway. We also have 3 cats. Tip, Jekyll and Boo! They are also black, each with white markings. That's why mom and dad decided to get a black pug from the start - back when I was the only one - so we all shed in the same color. I'm two years old - and two months. I was born on November 26, 2003. That's exactly four months after mom and dad were married, so it's kind of a special day. Well, plus it's my birthday!

The picture on the left is my little brother, Guinness. He's one and a half - and a big ham! Bigger than me, even. He was born July 1, 2004. We're like more than half brothers. Kind of like three quarters brothers. But that's another story. We have the same father and the same maternal bloodlines. When I was about six months old, Mom and Dad decided I needed a companion. They thought I was needy. Geeeeeessshhhhhhh! I'm a pug! I was bred to be a lap dog, a companion for Tibetan royalty! I'm supposed to hang out with people when they're around! I do like having my little brother around, though, especially when mom and dad go to work. We like to curl up together and keep warm when we're not chasing after the cats. We like to sleep a lot. We sleep something like 14 hours a day. It's awfully exhausting being so cute all the time! HeHe. Well, Mom and Dad are getting some pizza delivered soon, so we'd better get in position. If we are quiet and look cute enough, dad will probably give us a little piece of meat or cheese or something yummy!
